· What is 30y3?
30y3 is an independent platform devoted to spreading and supporting the work of contemporary Spanish photographers.
It is a non profit project that was sustained in it’s first period (2010-2015) by the voluntary work of their editors and collaborators.
In 2016, 30y3 received a grant from the Spanish Ministry of Education and Culture, as a help to re-design and re-code the website, adding some new functionalities like the online store.
· Online store? Why?
The main goal of the store is to support the artists in their practices and to contribute to the sustainability of the platform by selling prints and other photographic products.
Benefits obtained by sales are distributed as follows:
– 66% for the artist
– 33% for 30y3
The part corresponding to 30y3 will be destined, exclusively, to cover website maintenance costs, pay collaborators and develop activities and projects that support Spanish Photography.
· Where are the prints produced?
30y3 works with a printing lab called Copias de Autor and a framer called José Rey, both based around Vigo (Spain). Frames are handmade and every material in touch with the print during the framing and packing process is acid-free to ensure quality and long-lived artworks.
· How are the prints delivered?
Prints are covered with acid-free tissue paper and packed flat (S and M sizes) or in reinforced cardboard tubes (L and XL sizes) to ensure safety in transit. Framed prints are packed in special cardboard boxes with foam inside. All of them are sent to the customer through a courier company.
· What happens if the artwork is damaged during the transit or the customer is not satisfied?
30y3 wants prints to arrive at their destination in perfect conditions, and takes the utmost care when packing in order for this to happen. However, 30y3 cannot be held responsible for any defects the package may undergo during transit. If the content of the package does not arrive in good condition, please contact us and we will try to find out what happened and find a satisfactory solution.
If you are not happy with the product you receive in the mail, we will happily accept a return within 14 days, as long as your order is in its original condition. Once we’ve received it, we will proceed to refund you the total cost of your purchase, excluding the delivery cost.
· Do prices include taxes and custom expenses?
All prices include VAT (21%) but exclude custom taxes. If you are ordering for delivery outside the EU, prices may be subject to import duties and taxes which are levied when the delivery reaches the specified destination. You will be responsible for payment of any such import duties and taxes.
· Privacy policy
During the shopping process, you only give 30y3 access to a limited number of your personal details: full name, email and postal address. This information is essential in order for the order to be confirmed and dispatched and won’t be shared with third parties or used for commercial purposes.
