P2P is a project curated by Charlotte Cotton, Luis Díaz Díaz and Iñaki Domingo that aims to articulate the practices and theories at play in contemporary spanish photography. It will be part of the official program of Photoespaña festival 2014, from june 4 until july 20. The project consists on three parts. A website, an exhibition with live program and a printed catalogue.
The website was designed to host conversations between the participants related with their practices, the medium itself and the actual status of being an artist. It served as starting point to generate the exhibition concept.
The exhibition is based on visual dialogues between groups of artists. The goal is to transmit the energy and wide spectrum of photographic ideas used by the artists and their creative networks. A Live Program will help to communicate this message to the audience through activities, workshops and debates.
All the documents generated during the process will be published in a printed catalogue once the project is finished.
PLEASE CHECK HERE THE LIVE PROGRAM FOR THE OPENING WEEK.
30y3 is an independent platform and archive devoted to spreading and supporting the work of contemporary photographers from Spain and beyond.
Designing and coding this website was possible thanks to a grant of Ministerio de Educación, Cultura y Deporte. Web hosting is sponsored by Dinahosting.
