Erik Von Frankenberg
There is a false peace in nature, we tend to believe that we have it under control. We have imposed the idea that we coexist with it peacefully. Almost invisibly it’s taking positions, it doesn’t matter that we try to delimit it, attack it, manipulate it or domesticate it, its interior urges to rebel. Shouldn’t we as humans act the same way?
Animals, plants, trees, the woods… they become an indirect reference to post eden, and a symptom of resistance.
The x is not on the map its a journey in search of references between the human being and nature, a walk that begins in our new home and continues looking for our origins
Erik lives in madrid where he combines his personal work with commercial assignments.
